This lathe weighs about 16000 pounds as it sits here. It is already sitting on a steel frame.

We have inclosed it in a moisture repelling stretch wrap.

Next comes the Mil-Spec moisture barrier that is heat sealed at the seams and then a vacuum is pulled on the machine and sealed to insure that no contaminates will infect the product. The next picture shows the steel frame work welded onto the steel platform around the tool.

The finished product shows all the seams sealed with caulk as added protection against moisture. This 17' X 8' X 10' Package is ready for the trip to the other side of the world.
